You’ll receive your destination, accommodations, and key travel details upfront, with only small, optional surprises layered in along the way. It’s ideal for planners who like to feel fully prepared but still want a touch of excitement without giving up control.
Level Three - The Trip Tease
Level three is for travelers who are ready to fully lean into the surprise. You’ll receive only the essentials—your travel dates, airport, and packing guidance—while your destination, accommodations, and experiences stay hidden until your final reveal. It’s perfect for those who love anticipation, trust the process, and want a true sense of discovery without any overthinking.
Level Two - The Passport Confidential
Level two is for travelers who want a balance between control and surprise. You’ll receive essential details like your travel dates, general climate, and what to pack, while your destination and key experiences are revealed gradually. It’s perfect for those who are ready to let go a bit, enjoy the anticipation, and still feel prepared along the way.
Level Four - The Cliffhanger
Level four is for those who want the ultimate surprise experience. You’ll only receive your departure date, airport, and a packing guide—everything else stays completely hidden, including your destination, accommodations, and full itinerary, which isn’t revealed until the day of departure—when your big reveal box meets you at the airport. It’s perfect for those who want to let go entirely.
Our Mystery Destination Policy
Every mystery destination is chosen specifically for your trip. Before I plan anything, you'll complete a detailed questionnaire covering your budget, travel style, interests, activity level, climate preferences, accessibility needs, past travels, and the kinds of places you'd rather avoid. I use that information to narrow down destinations and choose one that fits the people taking the trip. Mystery destinations are never assigned at random.
Booking a mystery trip means being open to discovering a destination you may not have chosen yourself. While I'll carefully match your destination to the information you provide, part of the experience is trusting the process and allowing yourself to be surprised.
If, after opening your Destination Reveal Box, you feel the destination isn't the right fit, I'll replan your trip to a different destination at no additional planning fee. Because every mystery trip is planned from scratch, your new trip will be scheduled for a later departure date to allow time to create a completely new mystery experience. Any supplier change fees, non-refundable costs, or differences in travel pricing will remain the traveler's responsibility.
My goal is simple: to plan a trip that's a good fit, while keeping the surprise that makes a mystery vacation different in the first place.
