It’s a good fit if you want to travel without spending weeks comparing destinations, hotels, flights, and activities—or if you’re tired of taking the same kind of trip every time.

For The Cliffhanger, your Destination Reveal Box is delivered to you at the airport on departure day. Every box is packed by hand, and no two are exactly alike.

The planning is finished, reservations are made, and your itinerary is ready. Pack your bags, follow the plan, and see how the trip comes together. The only thing left for you to do is go.

You choose how much of the trip stays a mystery. Keep a little control, give up all of it, or land somewhere in between. Your chosen level determines what you know in advance and when you receive your Destination Reveal Box

Level One - The Control Freak

You know the destination and major trip details from the beginning. I handle the planning, but keep a few smaller surprises and clue drops to make the lead-up more interesting.

Level Two - The Passport Confidential

You receive the important details you need to prepare, but the destination stays confidential. You’ll know enough to feel ready without knowing exactly where you’re going.

Level Three - The Trip Tease

You get the basics, including your travel dates, departure information, and what to pack. The destination, accommodations, and most trip details stay secret until the reveal.

Level Four - The Cliffhanger

You’ll know your departure date, airport, and what to pack. Your destination and itinerary stay secret until departure day, when your Destination Reveal Box is delivered to you at the airport.

Our Mystery Destination Policy

Every destination is chosen using your Curious Q&A, including your budget, interests, travel style, accessibility needs, past trips, and anything you want to avoid. Mystery destinations are never randomly assigned.

Booking a mystery trip means being open to a destination you may not have chosen on your own. If the destination conflicts with a preference or deal-breaker clearly stated in your Q&A, I’ll replan the trip without charging another planning fee.

If the destination fits the information you provided but you decide you would rather go somewhere else, the trip can still be replanned for an additional planning fee. Any supplier change fees, nonrefundable costs, or increases in travel price remain the traveler’s responsibility. A new departure date may also be required.
